Happy Fitness Friday! Now if you didn’t already know this I am a Pilates instructor at Equilibrium and I wanted to share with you what I do. Pilates is such an amazing way to get in shape, stay in shape and/or get your body in the shape you like. I could go on and on about the benefits of Pilates, and believe me there are millions but you really should just come in and try it for yourself. If you are an athlete; it will help, if you have back pain; Pilates will help. If you want to tone up and gain core strength; Pilates will help. I really think the best way to understand how amazing it is is to just try it for yourself. Go to your local Pilates studio and give it a try. It has changed my life and I hope that you’ll find your Pilates strength too. I had knee pain, back pain and shoulder pain and Pilates really targeted the muscles I needed to strengthen and helped ease the pain. Here are some of the many exercises that can be done on a reformer. There are so many others you can do as well. It’s like nothing else!
